A good story, no matter what form it takes,
will touch our hearts, our minds, and our emotions.
A good story reminds us of our humanity
and yet invites to rise above it.
We are a humanity linked by stories.
Stories of all kinds and all types feed into our psyche from all cultures,
binding us into one humanity.
Storytelling seems to have existed in some form or another since the dawn of time,
helped in part, until most recent times, by the immortal words, “Tell me a story.”
Does any child, or anyone for that matter, utter those words anymore?
Are we the poorer for it?
We are a varied collection of experiences
held together by memory and stories.
When we stop being part of the memories and the stories,
is that when we stop existing?
